Carry The Mission Forward!

Building for the Future

This year, Happy Hill Farm celebrates 50 years of transforming lives through faith, education, and opportunity. For half a century, we’ve opened our doors to high-potential children from low-opportunity backgrounds, providing them with a safe, Christ-centered environment where they can learn, grow, and discover their God-given potential.

Founded by Ed and Gloria Shipman in 1974, Happy Hill Farm was built on a simple but powerful belief: that a child’s background should never limit their future. Through North Central Texas Academy, a fully accredited private Christian school on our campus, students receive a world-class education grounded in faith and family values.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we’re also looking ahead. To ensure the next generation of children can experience the same life-changing opportunities, we are inviting 100 friends to join us by including Happy Hill Farm in their estate plans.

Create a lasting foundation for Christ-centered education, compassionate care, and the nurturing of faith for every child who walks through our doors.

We are inviting 100 friends to join us in carrying the mission of Happy Hill Farm forward by including the Farm in their estate plans. Your planned gift, of any size, will ensure that future generations of children have the same opportunities to learn, grow, and discover their God-given potential.

When you make a planned gift to Happy Hill Farm, you extend your faith and generosity far beyond your lifetime. You help ensure that children will continue to experience love, structure, and hope through a community built on Christian values.

Please fill out the form below to get more information about making a legacy gift or to let us know you have already included Happy Hill Farm in your will or estate plans.

So Who Are The Kids At Happy Hill Farm?

Eighty percent arrive from non-Christian backgrounds. Many come from poverty and neglect. Others come from war-torn countries where they fear for their lives. All of them arrive carrying heavy burdens.

But there is one more thing they have in common: every child who comes to Happy Hill Farm is full of potential. These are bright and driven kids who just need the opportunity to be all that God created them to be.

When they step onto this campus, they are met with love, structure, and the promise of something more. Through the sharing of the Gospel, we see so many kids baptized, discipled, and even go on into ministry.

Here, they live in family-style homes with full-time resident parents. They attend a fully accredited school. They learn responsibility by caring for animals through FFA and AG programs. They play sports, make music, and are discipled daily in what it means to live for Christ.

And it’s all funded by people like you.

We don’t receive a penny of state or federal funding. Happy Hill Farm continues only because of the faith and generosity of friends like you.
